The Illinois PGA Foundation along with the state’s allied golf associations and local media are proud to support the traditions of the game of golf through their support of the Illinois Golf Hall of Fame. We invite you to visit the Illinois Golf Hall of Fame located on the main level of the clubhouse at The Glen Club in Glenview, Illinois.

The entry form and supporting material must be submitted to the Illinois PGA Foundation no later than December 31, 2008.

2007 Illinois Golf Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies
Glenview, IL – Over two hundred friends from the Illinois golf community assembled at The Glen Club in Glenview, Ill. on August 2nd to celebrate the career achievements of golf pioneers the Foulis Brothers (Robert, James & David) and PGA Professionals (left to right) Tony Holguin, Hal Miller and Bill Erfurth. Friends, family and industry peers traveled from across the country to partake in the evening celebration that was highlighted by video tributes followed by heartfelt acceptance speeches.

Accepting on behalf of the Foulis family was Mr. Laird Miller, grandson of Robert Foulis.

Illinois Golf Half of Fame History
The Illinois Golf Hall of Fame was created in 1989 by the Illinois PGA Foundation in an effort to recognize and honor those individuals who have contributed to the rich history and tradition of the game of golf here in Illinois. Representatives from Illinois' allied golf associations serve on the selection committee.

The current roster of Illinois Golf Hall of Fame members is made up of men and women who have played significant roles in all aspects of the game, from teaching to playing, course design and construction to administration and inspiration. These individuals represent not only an impressive collection of accomplishments in golf, but the true spirit and integrity that make the game great. The current Illinois Golf Hall of Fame roster includes some of the most influential contributors to the growth of the game throughout the state. From the establishment of Chicago Golf Club, the first 18-hole golf course in the United States, to the many national championships that have been played here, the mission of this Illinois Golf Hall of Fame is to educate and entertain golf enthusiasts from all walks of life.
