DATES: Mon-Wed: August 27-29, 2007

EVENT: 54 Holes of Stroke Play competition for the Illinois Section PGA Championship and a predetermined number of spots and alternates for the PGA Professional National Championship. Number of qualifying spots may increase or decrease based on the National entries.

PLAYOFF: In case of a playoff for the championship, there will be a three (3) hole total stroke playoff following the posting of the final scores. If the tie has not been broken after three holes, the playoff shall continue at sudden death. Playoff holes to be determined by the Tournament Committee. In case of a tie for qualifying position(s) there will be a sudden death playoff following posting of the final score. Playoff holes to be determined by committee.

TEE SCHEDULE: Monday & Tuesday, (two tee start, two waves) Wednesday, (repair the field, with morning tee times off of both tees).

PRACTICE ROUNDS: Please contact Stonewall Orchard Golf Club to schedule a practice round starting time. Please note the specific practice round schedule below:

Monday, August 20 - Before 11:00 am or after 2:00pm
Wednesday, August 22 - After 2:00pm
Thursday, August 23 - After 2:00pm
Sunday, August 26 - Between 2:00pm & 3:00pm

DRIVING RANGE: Available, compliments of Stonewall Orchard.

FOOD/BEVERAGE: Available. Stonewall Orchard Golf Club, Chicago's first Arthur Hills-designed course located in northwest suburban Grayslake has unveiled its 5,000-square foot clubhouse, featuring a fully stocked golf shop and the Sweetbriar Grill restaurant.

Overlooking a number of Stonewall Orchard's signature tree-lined fairways as well as the bordered hole #9 and #18 greens, diners are greeted with both excellent food as well as breathtaking views. With daily specials to be included on the menu, alongside a well-balanced selection golfer friendly sandwich fare, the Sweetbriar Grill offers quality, up scale fare in the most relaxing of atmospheres. LOCKER ROOM: Available, please prepare for golf in the locker room.

CARTS/CADDIE: Caddies will NOT be available at Stonewall Orchard Golf Club. A motorized cart or caddy shall be required for all competitors. Contestants may bring their own caddy.

DRESS CODE: While on host facility property during qualifying rounds; players shall present a neat appearance in both clothing and personal grooming. Blue jeans, SHORTS, T-shirts, or shirts without collars shall not be worn. Caddies shall present a neat appearance in both clothing and personal grooming.

ELECTRONIC MEASURING DEVICES: Use of such devices will be prohibited in the 85th ILLINOIS PGA CHAMPIONSHIP/PPNC. The use of devices that gauge or measure other conditions that might affect a player's play, (e.g., wind, temperature, gradient etc.) regardless of whether any such additional functions are actually used, is not permitted. (Rule 14-3/0.5). A competitor in breach of this policy shall be disqualified.

The official hotel for the Nadler Golf Cars 85th Illinois PGA Championship/PPNC. Please make your reservation before August 20, 2007. Room rates for Illinois PGA members $119.00 per night.

DIRECTIONS: FROM CHICAGO: Take 94 North to Route 137 (Buckley Rd) (North of Libertyville) exit and turn West. Go West past Milwaukee Blvd then past the light at Butterfield Rd, 100 feet past Butterfield exit on to Peterson Rd. Follow Peterson Rd until it ends at Route 60. Turn right and travel 3-4 miles to the entrance on the South side of Highway 60.

From Woodfield, Schaumburg: Take 53 North to Lake-Cook Rd exit West to Route 12 (Rand Rd) turn North (right) and follow signs and watch your speed through Lake Zurich and Wauconda to Volo. Turn right at Route 120 (Belvidere Rd), travel half a mile to Route 60 (stop light), turn right and travel half a mile to the entrance on the South side of the road.
