OAK PARK, Ill. – June 13, 2022 – The 60th Radix Cup Matches will take place Thursday, June 16 at Oak Park Country Club. First played in 1962, the Radix Cup annually features a team of Illinois PGA Professionals squaring off against a team of Chicago District Golf Association (CDGA) Amateurs. The format consists of six better ball matches utilizing Nassau scoring, with the team accumulating the most points hoisting the Radix Cup. The Illinois PGA leads the all-time series 37-20-2 and won the 59th iteration 11 -7 in 2021.
The Illinois PGA Professional team is based on the previous year’s Illinois PGA Bernardi Player of the Year points list. The amateurs are selected using CDGA Player of the Year points from the previous year. The top 11 players from each list are invited to compete in the Radix Cup.

Chicago District Golf Association
The Chicago District Golf Association (CDGA) is authorized by the United States Golf Association (USGA) as the governing body for amateur golf in our region.
