The Illinois Section PGA is pleased to provide internship opportunities in golf tournament operations throughout our tournament season for qualified applicants. We are now accepting resumes for our 2020 Event Operations Internship.

The Illinois Section PGA is seeking two (2) qualified candidates to join our team for a four (4) month internship beginning May 11, 2020 - August 14, 2020 (dates are flexible for students returning to school). Interns will be primarily responsible for assisting tournament staff with on-site tournament responsibilities including:

• Operational set-up, golf course set-up, and starter/scoring duties
• ​Supporting full time staff in tournament preparation, including, production of event pairings, rules sheets, score boards, scorecards, and course marking
• ​ Assisting full time staff in statistical tracking and reporting of online tournament registration and player's associated eligibility requirements, or any other internal reporting desired
• ​Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Section's Drive, Chip & Putt local and sub-regional qualifiers
