KATHY KREFT PROMOTED TO DIRECTOR OF MEMBER AND PARTNERSHIP SERVICES

GLENVIEW, Ill. – January 12, 2015 – Illinois PGA Executive Director Michael Miller today announced the promotion of Kathy Kreft as the Director of Member and Partnership Services. The change will continue to strengthen the Illinois PGA’s commitment to delivering the highest quality programs and services to the Section membership.

“I am pleased to announce Kathy’s promotion with the Illinois PGA,” said Michael Miller, executive director for the Illinois PGA. “Throughout her tenure with the Illinois PGA, Kathy has continued to exemplify dedication, hard work, professionalism and leadership in all of her duties. I am confident that her service to the members of the Illinois PGA in this expanded role will further improve the quality of our programming in key areas.”

Kathy joined the Illinois PGA in March of 2006 and quickly added more responsibilities to her role of Membership Coordinator. During her almost nine years with the Illinois PGA, Kathy has handled membership support, day-to-day accounting processing and reporting, Illinois PGA Foundation and First Tee of Greater Chicago program support, special project management and Illinois PGA educational programming coordination.

As Director of Member and Partnership Services at the Illinois PGA, Kathy will oversee corporate partner management, sponsorship development & fulfillment, membership reporting and support, education program management, support of the Illinois Golf Salesperson Association, administration of Birdies for Charity and the Chicago Golf Show.
