GLENVIEW, Ill. – October 10, 2019 – The Illinois PGA Section has announced the promotion of Palmer Moody to Assistant Executive Director/Foundation and Communications.  Moody will continue his oversight of public relations and communications for the Illinois PGA Section and Illinois PGA Foundation and add management and execution of the Illinois PGA Foundation’s mission to promote the goodwill and growth of the game of golf.

“We are pleased to announce Palmer’s promotion within the Illinois PGA,” said Carrie Williams, Executive Director of the Illinois PGA Section and CEO of the Illinois PGA Foundation. “Since joining our team, Palmer’s expertise and leadership have been extremely valuable to the Illinois PGA and we are confident that in his expanded role with the Section and Foundation he will further improve the quality of our programming for years to come.”
