Golf, Illinois — February 11, 2026 — The Illinois PGA Foundation and Penrose Brewing Co. are proud to announce a new three-year partnership that brings together the state’s golf community and one of Illinois’ most innovative craft breweries. Through this collaboration, Penrose Brewing Co., based in Geneva, Illinois, will rebrand three of its popular beverage SKUs to feature the Illinois PGA Foundation logo, officially designating them as the Official Craft Beer and Seltzer of the Illinois PGA Foundation and Illinois PGA Section. A portion of proceeds from every sale will directly benefit the Illinois PGA Foundation and its mission-driven programming.
Founded in 2014, Penrose Brewing Co. is known for its forward-thinking approach to craft beer and hard seltzers, creating imaginative, high-quality beverages for consumers in Illinois, Wisconsin, and beyond. This partnership highlights Penrose’s commitment to the local community and its passion for supporting organizations that enrich the lives of Illinois residents.
As part of the agreement, Penrose will introduce co-branded versions of three fan-favorite offerings:
- Looper IPA – A crisp and crushable modern IPA brewed with vibrant, fruit-forward Alora™ hops. With notes of peach, apricot, sweet melon, and yuzu, Looper is a playful nod to golf caddies, the twists of the Penrose Triangle, and a certain mischievous gopher. Crafted for the course or any occasion, Looper keeps the good times rolling—round after round.
- Transfusion Seltz-Up – A refreshing, cocktail-inspired hard seltzer infused with grape, ginger, and lime. Made with real grape ingredients, this effervescent blend captures the essence of the classic Transfusion cocktail and brings a sophisticated, fruity twist perfect for on-course refreshment.
- Lemon Tea-Up – A Half-and-Half–inspired hard seltzer offering a nostalgic take on the classic lemon shake-up. Crafted with house-made hard seltzer and pureed lemons, this award-winning beverage (2024 U.S. Open Hard Seltzer Championship Gold Medal) delivers a bright, invigorating flavor reminiscent of warm weather and county fair days.

Anthony Sperando of Penrose Brewing will be making visits to facilities throughout the Illinois PGA Section to deliver a welcome box for Illinois PGA Members starting next week. The welcome box will include samples of the above-mentioned products, along with marketing materials to help promote this new partnership. If available, the Illinois PGA kindly asks for your assistance in facilitating any conversations that may help this partnership. These co-branded beverages will be available for general sale beginning in March 2026.
