PGA JR. LEAGUE

The Illinois PGA/PGA Jr. League 13U Post-Season Championship Event will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024, once again at Boone Creek Golf Club in McHenry, Illinois.

Once again in 2024, the Illinois PGA and Player Engagement Committee are proud to announce that this year’s  Postseason Championship will be divided into two divisions – a PGA Jr. League Section Championship competition, which will qualify All-Star teams into the Regional Championship, and a “Celebration Division” intended to give less competitive teams the opportunity to participate in one last season-ending event.

Each League, whether Travel or In-House must have at least 24 UNIQUE players to qualify for a Post-Season Team. In order to be All-Star eligible, all players must be at least 10 years of age prior to July 31st and no older than 13 years old on July 31st.

Teams will be put into divisions on a first-come, first-served basis.  It is the Section’s intent that 18 holes at Boone Creek will be reserved for the competitive Section Championship teams, and 9 holes will be reserved for the Celebration Division, but registration numbers will determine how the field is split.

IMPORTANT DATES FOR COACHES:

• PGA Coaches considering fielding a team in the Post-Season Competition are asked to please fill out the registration form below no later than Wednesday, July 24. 
• PGA Coaches who register to participate and for some reason choose not to field a team may withdraw from the competition up until Friday, July 26.
• Confirmation of your division and event details will be sent out to PGA Coaches after the Wednesday, July 24 registration deadline.
• THERE WILL BE A MANDATORY CALL FOR ALL POSTSEASON CHAMPIONSHIP COACHES ON FRIDAY, JULY 26 AT 10:00 A.M.
