Play Suspended at Round Two of the Illinois Open Championship

75TH ILLINOIS OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP LEADERBOARD

FLOSSMOOR, Ill. – August 6, 2024 – The second round of the 75th Illinois Open at Flossmoor Golf Club has been suspended due to darkness.

The first round of the Illinois Open resumed at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday.  Monday’s original afternoon wave has finished its second round, and the original morning wave is currently playing its second round with groups through four to 11 holes.

At the time of suspension, Charlie Nikitas (Glenview, IL), Drew Shepherd (Hinsdale, IL), David Perkins (East Peoria, IL), and Tommy Kuhl (Morton, IL) were all tied for the lead at 4-under-par.

The second round of the 75th Illinois Open will resume at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Following the conclusion of round two the field will be cut to the low 50 and ties. The final round of the 75th Illinois Open will begin at 1:00 p.m.
