Teach-a-Thon

The Illinois PGA Foundation Teach-a-Thon is a unique opportunity for PGA Members and Associates to give back by doing one of the things they do best: teach the game of golf.

How the Illinois PGA Foundation Teach-a-Thon Works

PGA Members and Associates across the Section are invited to consider making a tax-deductible gift of a portion of their lesson income to the Illinois PGA Foundation.

Participation is entirely flexible:

• Donate the revenue from one full day of lessons
• Contribute a set percentage (e.g., 10%) from lesson income for the week
• Establish a structure that fits your schedule, teaching practice, or facility

Both Members and Associates are encouraged to participate, including those employed at private facilities. Individualized donation arrangements can be coordinated to ensure contributions are managed in a way that works best for each professional and facility.

Why Participate?

Illinois PGA Professionals are uniquely positioned to make a lasting difference. Their ability to teach, inspire, and lead on the lesson tee reaches far beyond the game itself.

The Illinois PGA Foundation Teach-a-Thon offers a chance to use that talent for something greater—to support youth golf, veterans seeking healing through community, and others who benefit from the life-changing opportunities golf can provide.

Whether it’s one hour, one day, or one week, every contribution helps the Foundation reach more people and expand its mission.
