<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n PGA Jr. League is a fun, social and inclusive opportunity for boys and girls, ages 13 and under, to learn and enjoy the game of golf from PGA and LPGA Professionals. Like many other recreational youth sports, participants wear numbered jerseys and play on teams with friends. \nThe Illinois PGA is excited to announce a change in the format of the PGA Jr. League All-star postseason!<\/p>\n
\n
\nThe 13u Section Championship will be held at The Hawk Country Club on Monday, August 9. The Elite 8<\/em> competition will take place in the morning session, during which eight (8) teams will be narrowed down to two (2). The final two (2) teams will play in the afternoon session for the Championship. The winner will qualify to compete in the PGA Jr. League Regional in September 2021.<\/span><\/span>

\nThe Cog Hill All-Star team returned to the 2019 PGA Jr. League National Championship hosted at Grayhawk Golf Club (Scottsdale, AZ), presented by National Car Rental for the fourth straight year. Team Illinois was captained by Kevin Weeks, PGA Teaching Professional at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club. Team Illinois team finished third in the Wanamaker Division at the National Championship, finishing with a, 3-2 record, and 30 points. Read the story HERE<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n
